Job summary

Blacktown City Council invites applications for a Graduate Project Management position starting mid-February 2027. You will rotate through projects across the Council, gaining hands-on experience in planning, reporting and governance to deliver facilities and services for a growing city.

This entry-level role requires a Construction Project Management degree (or related field) completed by start date or within the past 2 years, plus strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree completed by commencement date or within the last 2 years.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem solving skills.
• Interest in coordinating activities and seeing projects progress from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning and research project issues.
• Prepare reports and presentations and coordinate meetings/workshops.
• Maintain project documentation and support procurement activities.
• Track project actions and monitor progress against timeframes.
• Work with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
