Maitland City Council is offering a two-year Graduate Project Manager program commencing January 2027. You will rotate through design, documentation and delivery of Council projects, gaining practical experience in scoping, design management, and procurement.

The role requires a relevant degree, knowledge of project, design and procurement processes, and a current driver's licence. Employment is a temporary full-time contract with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualifications in Engineering, Project Management for the Built Environment, Construction Management or related discipline, completed within the previous two years or due by January 2027.
• Contemporary knowledge of project management, design, procurement and construction processes.
• Experience or understanding of project support and the research, analysis and presentation of information.
• Ability to work productively as part of a team, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Current Class C driver's licence.

Responsabilités

• Assist with scoping, design management and delivery of Council projects across the program.
• Support procurement of consultants and contractors.
• Participate in site inspections and contract administration.
• Gain exposure to project management functions across design, documentation and delivery.
