Westgold Group is looking for Graduate Metallurgists for their 2026/2027 Intake in Australia. This position offers hands-on experience in gold processing operations while building a solid technical foundation for a successful career.

This structured graduate program combines site-based and office experience, allowing you to contribute to plant optimisation and gain exposure across multiple processing plants. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and exhibit strong computer literacy alongside a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Motivated and curious about starting a career in mining.
• Ability to work with operational teams.
• Current manual C Class driver’s licence.
• Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to multiple gold processing plants.
• Assisting with plant optimisation and metallurgical test work.
• Supporting metallurgical accounting and continuous improvement.
• Gaining hands-on experience across all processing functions.
