Westgold Resources is seeking Vacation Students studying Metallurgy to join our team for the Summer 2026/2027. This 12-week placement offers hands-on experience across our mining operations and exposure to the full mining lifecycle, working with experienced professionals.

You will gain practical skills, apply your academic knowledge, and develop industry connections in a leading Australian gold producer during a period of growth and opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence required.
• Australian working rights for duration of program.

Responsibilities

• Join an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth during the summer period (Dec 2026–Feb 2027).
• Gain hands-on experience within your chosen discipline.
• Work alongside experienced industry professionals and technical experts.
• Contribute to operational and project activities across sites.
• Apply academic knowledge in a practical mining environment.
• Develop valuable workplace skills and industry experience.
