Alliance Automation in Brisbane is seeking a Graduate Engineer (Electrical) to learn and contribute across real engineering projects. You will work with experienced engineers, gain hands-on exposure to industrial electrical systems, and support design, testing and commissioning activities.
The program focuses on building foundational skills in electrical engineering, safety, documentation and project delivery while offering formal development opportunities and a clear career pathway.
Your first engineering role should give you more than a job. It should give you the opportunity to learn, solve real problems, work with experienced engineers and build the foundations for a great career.
At Alliance Automation, our Graduate Engineers work alongside experienced technical teams delivering engineering solutions across some of Australia’s most important industrial environments.
For this opportunity, we’re looking for an Electrical Engineering graduate to join our Brisbane office, where you’ll gain practical experience across real engineering projects and develop your technical capability working alongside experienced engineers and specialists.
Our values of Care, Collaboration, Integrity, Impact and Curiosity shape how we work, how we support each other and the engineers we want to develop.
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to join our Brisbane team.
This is an opportunity to take what you’ve learned at university and apply it to real engineering challenges.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to projects from design and development through to testing, commissioning and delivery. You’ll gain exposure to industrial electrical systems, equipment and technologies, while also working as part of multidisciplinary teams across our broader engineering capability.
We don't expect you to know everything when you arrive. We’re looking for someone with the right foundations, a genuine interest in electrical engineering and technology, and the curiosity to keep learning.
Depending on the projects you’re involved in, you may:
Most importantly, you’ll be given the opportunity to do real engineering and learn from experienced people around you.
We’re interested in graduates who are technically curious, motivated to learn and excited about building a career in engineering.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Above all, we’re looking for people who reflect how we work at Alliance.
People who Care about those around them. Who believe in Collaboration and working together. Who demonstrate Integrity and take ownership of their work. Who want their work to have genuine Impact. And who have the Curiosity to ask questions, challenge thinking and continually look for better ways.
You won’t spend your graduate years watching from the sidelines. You’ll contribute to real projects and see how engineering solutions progress from an idea through design and development and ultimately into an operating environment.
Work alongside engineers, technical leads and specialists who can help turn your university knowledge into practical engineering capability.
You’ll develop practical experience across industrial electrical systems, design, equipment, documentation, testing and commissioning, building a strong foundation for your career while gaining exposure to Alliance’s broader engineering capability.
Great engineers need more than technical knowledge. You’ll also develop your communication, problem-solving, commercial awareness, stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills.
We invest in the continued technical and professional development of our people, giving you the opportunity to keep building your capability as your career progresses.
Where you start your engineering career matters.
Based in our Brisbane office, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers, solve real problems, work with exciting technology and see the results of your work in real-world environments.
You’ll be supported to develop your technical capability, learn how great engineering projects are delivered and progressively take on greater responsibility as your experience grows.
If you’re an Electrical Engineering graduate who is curious, enjoys solving problems and wants to turn your engineering degree into practical experience that makes an impact, we’d like to hear from you.
