Job summary

GUD Holdings, located in the City of Knox, Australia, is looking for a software developer to join their Engineering team. This full-time role focuses on developing Android applications and requires proficiency in Kotlin, among other technologies.

Candidates will work in a flexible environment within a multinational industry leader and benefit from a comprehensive two-year training plan.

Job Description

Part of the Groups Engineering team, this newly created opportunity will see support and add to the development of the Android applications which integrate into some of our iconic product eco systems.

You will :

• Build new app functionality using Kotlin for Android
• Support the CI/CD effort by writing effective unit tests
• Support UI development with ideas/initiatives that make app more user friendly

Qualifications

The role requires some understanding of the Android Application systems and transport requirements including:

• Proficiency in Kotlin
• StateFlow
• Jetpack Compose
• Reactive programming concepts
• User Interface Design
• REST, Firebase and general experience working with server APIs

Ideally your knowledge of the above will be supported by formal qualifications in software development or related discipline
