Goldfields Automation in Ballarat is seeking a Graduate Control Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work on design, development, and implementation of control systems across diverse industries, gaining hands-on experience from electrical design to PLC/HMI/SCADA programming and project management.

You’ll participate in full lifecycle development, on-site troubleshooting, system testing, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics or relevant trade experience.
• Aptitude to learn complex systems integration tasks – PLC, SCADA and HMI programming, configuration, and implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Scheduling and planning capability.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of control system development from concept to commissioning.
• Program controllers and develop HMI interfaces; test and troubleshoot on-site.
• Document work and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
