Job summary

Mexx Engineering Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join the Design team. You will design electronic components, circuits and control systems for industrial applications and develop embedded software to run on embedded controllers.

You will supervise installation and commissioning, establish safety standards, and contribute to testing procedures. A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is desirable and experience with PLCs, sensors, pneumatics and robotics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering would be desirable
• Experience in concept development, 3D design and detailing
• Familiarity with safety requirements of machine design

Responsibilities

• Design electronic components, circuits and control systems for industrial applications
• Design software, especially embedded software, for such systems
• Develop procedures to test electronic components, circuits and systems
• Supervise installation and commissioning of control systems
• Establish and monitor performance and safety standards
