Job summary

Prime Partners in Sydney offers a February 2027 graduate program that trains three entrants to manage a client from first contact to job completion. You will learn practical accounting and tax work, with early client exposure and growing responsibility, supported by a senior buddy and experienced accountants, managers and directors.

Your first year is in North Sydney five days a week, with a four-stage pathway and salary reviews at each stage.

Qualifications

• You will complete an accounting degree, or a commerce degree with an accounting major, by February 2027.
• You are curious, reliable, communicate clearly and pay attention to detail.
• Accounting experience is welcome but not essential. Part time work, volunteering and university activities also count.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Learn end-to-end client engagement from initial conversation to completed job.
• Speak with clients, gather information and assist with ATO matters.
• Understand business structures, and company and trust establishment processes.
• Follow jobs through scoping, quoting, preparation, signing and invoicing.
• Use technology including Xero, FYI and responsible AI tools, and coordinate work with our Australian and Sri Lankan teams.
