Job summary

Novo Nordisk Oceania seeks a driven GP Sales Representative to promote our obesity and diabetes care portfolio across Lake Munmorah, Gosford, Woy Woy, Toronto and Cessnock.

You will build strong relationships with General Practitioners and Pharmacists, develop territory plans, and deliver compelling presentations both in person and online. This full-time role offers autonomy and growth within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years GP pharma sales experience.
• Must live near the territory and be willing to travel.
• Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Biomedical preferred.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel, including weekends.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Promote Novo Nordisk portfolio to GPs and Pharmacists in your territory.
• Build patient-centric HCP relationships through organized, proactive engagement.
• Develop and execute a robust territory business plan with omni-channel activities.
• Deliver presentations, monitor competitor activity and report insights.
• Adhere to ethics, local laws, and Novo Nordisk policies.

Your new role

In this full-time permanent role, you will promote Novo Nordisk's portfolio to General Practitioners and Pharmacists across Lake Munmorah, Gosford, Woy Woy, Toronto and Cessnock. There is no country trip on this territory. Expect variety, autonomy, strong customer relationships and the chance to promote treatments that genuinely change lives.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

• Engaging with existing General Practitioners and expanding the target group of customers across your territory
• Building patient-centric HCP relationships through a highly organised, self-motivated and driven approach
• Developing and executing a robust territory business plan, leveraging face-to-face and digital engagements to create a personalised omni-channel experience for your customers
• Executing marketing strategies, conducting group presentations, and monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
• Working in accordance with business ethics procedures and local laws, as well as the Novo Nordisk Way and internal policies

Your new department

Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high-performing affiliate operating in a mature pharma market. You will liaise with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory teams based at our head office in North Sydney, while developing and implementing your own territory business plans and prospecting new customers to drive results for our new and existing products.

As GP Sales Representative, you will join a high-performing sales team promoting Novo Nordisk products both in person and virtually across your designated territory, reporting directly to the State Sales Manager.

Your skills & qualifications

• Minimum 2yrs GP sales experience within the pharmaceutical or similar industry
• Working and living on or near the advertised geographical territory required
• A strong sales background with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
• Tertiary education, preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Biomedical, with the ability to absorb complex clinical data and communicate it clearly to customers
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional extended hours and weekends
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory)
