Job summary

Penny Medical Services Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC is seeking an experienced General Practice Manager to work alongside another Practice Manager in overseeing 3–4 medical centres across Melbourne. The primary focus is GP recruitment and business growth, with responsibility for onboarding staff and driving profitability.

You will lead recruitment of VR and non-VR GPs, oversee day-to-day operations, and monitor performance across clinics while expanding services and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Practice Manager in Australian general practice.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice operations.
• Experience with overseas-trained doctor recruitment pathways (IMGs).
• Good understanding of DPA policies, provider number requirements and doctor workforce pathways.
• Strong business and financial management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple practices highly regarded.
