Job summary

NHS England is seeking a GP PCME to deliver quality-assured education across the Wirral GP Training Programme. The role focuses on group learning mapped against the curriculum, ensuring sessions meet NHSE standards and supports resident doctors through ST1–ST3.

You will work with the Training Programme Director and lead educators to ensure robust plans and evidence collection for e-portfolios. The post holder will organize flexible learning experiences, manage attendance and assessments, and

Qualifications

• Must be on GMC GP Register with a minimum of one year’s experience in general practice post-CCT.
• Plan and deliver a balanced programme with a range of learning opportunities for Resident Doctors to meet RCGP GP Curriculum requirements.
• Develop and facilitate group learning opportunities for ST1–ST3 levels and ensure mapping to curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group learning that meets NHSE standards.
• Record assessments and track learner progress.
• Collect evaluations and report to Programme Director to improve the programme.
• Identify learner concerns and support the Programme Director with remediation plans.
• Provide accurate costings for the teaching programme and manage attendance.
