The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Academic Post Program Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of the Academic Post Program. You will manage program operations, funding, contracts, and stakeholder relationships across universities, registrars and internal teams to strengthen research and education capacity in general practice.

Reporting to the Senior Education Researcher, you will promote, select cohorts, oversee funding administration

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex programs, grants, projects or education initiatives from planning through to evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, contract management and relationship-building skills across diverse groups.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
• An understanding of research, education or healthcare environments, with a commitment to continuous improvement and positive outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Academic Post Program, including promotion, applications, selection processes and funding administration.
• Manage relationships, contracts and program activities with universities, registrars, presenters and key internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and facilitate a national education and support program that builds research and teaching capability in GPs in training.
• Evaluate and continuously improve program outcomes, using insights and stakeholder feedback to enhance the future GP workforce.
