Department of Defence seeks a Governance Officer to advise on complex governance activities and contribute to policy development, assurance, risk, and performance reporting. The role involves coordinating governance work, preparing briefs and committee papers, and engaging stakeholders across Joint Operations Command (JOC).

You will work with limited direction, applying policy frameworks to deliver compliant outcomes.

Formación

• Strong written and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply policy, legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting governance, risk, assurance or performance activities.
• Sound analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, evidence-based advice.
• Ability to provide guidance and improve processes, frameworks and documentation.
• Ability to produce high-quality briefs, reports and governance artefacts.
• Experience supporting committees or governance forums (desirable).
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance.
