Australian Department of Defence – Russell ACT is seeking a Governance Officer to support the Governance and Security Directorate within the VCDFG. The role focuses on delivering longer‑term governance deliverables while handling urgent tasks that require cross‑team collaboration.

The successful candidate will help ensure PGPA, Protective Security, and other regulatory frameworks are complied with, engaging extensively with senior leaders across Defence.

Qualifications

• Experience applying governance frameworks and PGPA compliance.
• Strong policy development and briefing material skills.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders across Defence.
