Job summary

nbn is seeking a Customer Field Technician based in Goulburn with a strong hands-on attitude to installations, repairs, and customer support across various nbn technologies. You’ll work independently in homes or small businesses, install cabling, set up equipment, identify faults, and ensure customers feel supported and informed through the process.

Working hours run from 7am to 7pm with flexibility. Full training and tools are provided, with ongoing support to help you succeed in delivering

Qualifications

• Criminal History Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Permanent full-time role.
• Driver’s Licence – clean and current.
• Strong commitment to safety and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to complete installations, repairs, maintenance, and customer support.
• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment.
• Identify and fix faults while keeping customers informed and reassured.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members as needed to meet service targets.
