Job summary

nbn is hiring a Customer Field Technician in Goulburn. You will work independently to install, repair, and maintain fibre and copper cabling and help customers in homes or small businesses.

Training and tools are provided, with a safety-first culture and flexible 7am–7pm hours. Previous telecommunications experience isn’t required; we value hands-on problem solvers who communicate well and put customers first.

Qualifications

• Ability to work hands-on to install/maintain equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach with clear safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install copper or fibre cabling and customer equipment.
• Identify faults, perform repairs and maintenance.
• Support customers in homes or businesses with clear explanations.
• Work independently across different nbN technologies.
• Follow safety procedures and complete tasks within 7am–7pm shifts.
