Job summary

RONIN Dynamics Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a Principal Google Cloud Architect to lead complex migrations. You’ll design Rehost, Replatform and Refactor strategies from VMware and other clouds, and stay hands-on through go-live rather than handing it off after the pitch.

You’ll run Compute, Serverless, GKE and Cloud Run with a pragmatic compute model per workload, make IaC and GitOps the norm, and build Vertex AI/BigQuery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Real commercial experience architecting and shipping on Google Cloud.
• Strong depth across Compute, Serverless, GKE, Cloud Run, networking and data services.
• Terraform and GitOps fluency at the
• clients can maintain after engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rehost, Replatform and Refactor migrations from VMware and other clouds onto GCP, and stay hands-on through go-live.
• Choose the right compute model per workload and avoid defaulting to familiar options.
• Make IaC and GitOps the default, with repeatable pipelines the client can own.
• Incorporate Vertex AI and BigQuery pipelines, understanding where agentic frameworks fit vs hype.
• Translate gnarly technical trade-offs into executive-ready narratives.
• Mentor engineers and lead from the front with the team.
