Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build and maintain infrastructure as code and applications on Google Cloud. You will work with Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud VMware Engine, and Compute Engine, delivering secure foundations and migrations with Terraform via GitOps.

Responsibilities include CI/CD implementation, scripting in Python or Bash, and securing cloud networks while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering secure Google Cloud Platform solutions for enterprise scale.
• Hands-on Google Cloud experience
• Terraform IaC delivery via GitOps practices
• Scripting in Python or Bash
• CI/CD pipelines for platform delivery
• Know-how of APIs, networking, and security best practices
• Certifications in Google Cloud (Cloud Architect/DevOps/Developer) preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure GCP solutions (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud VMware Engine, Compute Engine).
• Build and manage advanced IaC using Terraform with GitOps.
• Architect secure foundations and landing zones for cloud workloads and migrations.
• Implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Develop automation scripts in Python or Bash for platform management.
• Design secure cloud networks (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, DNS).
• Enable developer productivity and provide technical platform support.
• Act as a technical consultant with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
