Job summary

NCS Australia in Sydney is seeking a hands-on GCP Platform Engineer to design, build and operate Google Cloud platforms for enterprise clients. You’ll cover hybrid connectivity, networking, Terraform, CI/CD, security and observability, collaborating with cloud architects, data engineers and client stakeholders to take a platform from design through production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform networking (VPC, Shared VPC, routing, firewall policies).
• Practical knowledge of hybrid connectivity services (Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, HA VPN, Cloud Router).
• Fluent in Terraform and supporting CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Working knowledge of IAM, Cloud KMS, Secret Manager and Cloud Armor.
• Experience using Cloud Logging/Monitoring and building technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Google Cloud platforms for enterprise clients.
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations across environments.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform changes.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs, integration specs and runbooks.
• Implement logging, metrics and dashboards across cloud and hybrid environments.
