Job summary

RACV Torquay is seeking Golf Shop Assistants to support the day-to-day operation of our golf shops across resort locations. You'll be the friendly face helping members, guests and visitors enjoy their golfing experience while upholding RACV's presentation, service standards and hospitality.

The role calls for previous golf course experience, strong customer service and cash handling skills, knowledge of golf rules, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Golf course experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of golf rules and etiquette.
• Ability to handle cash and POS transactions.
• RSA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests and visitors.
• Administer golf course access, process payments, and manage POS transactions.
• Maintain Golf Shop presentation and stock knowledge.
• Support golf events and coordinate with other resort teams.
• Manage equipment hire, loan and returns with accuracy and care.
• Stay updated on golf rules, handicapping, trends and RACV standards.
• Assist with food and beverage service when required.
• Ensure safe work practices and contribute to a positive team culture.
