Job summary

Evolution Mining’s Cowal Gold Operations in New South Wales is seeking a Process Operator for a residential 7/7 roster based in West Wyalong. You’ll gain exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching and control room operations while helping deliver safe, reliable gold production.

Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you’ll monitor plant performance, respond to deviations, maintain logs and handovers, and contribute to continuous safety and efficiency improvements within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a processing plant, mining or heavy industry environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience monitoring process performance and responding to operational issues.
• Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritise work, make sound operational decisions and follow procedures.
• Australian Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe, reliable and continuous gold production outcomes.
• Operate processing plant circuits including crushing, grinding, flotation and leaching.
• Monitor plant performance and processing parameters to maintain operational targets.
• Respond to process deviations and equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Support plant isolations, shutdown activities and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate log sheets and deliver effective shift handovers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and performance.
