Job summary

Gold Fields Australia is seeking a Process Operator to join their Processing teams across Western Australian operations. Roles include FIFO from Perth to Gruyere/Granny Smith/Agnew and residential options in Kalgoorlie or Kambalda for St Ives.

As a key team member, you will operate processing plant equipment, manage process controls and drive safe, efficient operations while contributing to improvements and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Previous operating experience in a gold mineral processing environment.
• Sound knowledge of processing methodologies and equipment including Citect control system.
• Strong focus on safety, and a commitment to following company policies and processes.
• Computing skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Possess a valid manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate the processing plant and equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise plant performance.
• Operate the process control systems.
• Identify and diagnose items that require preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Maximise plant and equipment efficiency during production and advise on improvements.
• Safely operate IT loader, Bobcat, forklift and power tools; develop and adhere to procedures for mining plans.
