Job summary

Showtime Consulting in Sydney is seeking an experienced Software Developer specializing in Go (Golang) and AWS to design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services. You will work on scalable microservices, serverless components, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure and high-performing software.

Qualifications

5-15 years of software engineering experience, backend or cloud-native development.
Proficient in Go (Golang) with proven AWS cloud experience.
Experience designing, building, and operating scalable microservices and APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Go (Golang).
Develop and support serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and other AWS-native services.
Design and optimise data models and access patterns using AWS data services.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven applications.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture and technical decisions.
Provide operational support and troubleshoot production environments.
