Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5-15 years' experience in software engineering, backend development, or cloud-native application development.
• Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade Golang solutions within AWS environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Go (Golang).
• Develop and support serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and other AWS-native services.
• Design and optimise data models and access patterns using Amazon DynamoDB.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven applications.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business and technology outcomes.
• Perform code reviews and champion software engineering best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts.
• Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production environments.
