Essence Communities in Australia is seeking a General Manager to oversee Wentworth Quarter, a premium Build-to-Rent asset opened in 2024. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across the property, balancing commercial outcomes with an exceptional resident experience.

The role requires leading a large onsite team, managing budgets and KPIs, and partnering with clients and senior leaders to drive occupancy, leasing and asset presentation while building a high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale residential Build-to-Rent assets.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Proven leadership of high-performing onsite teams.
• Current NSW real estate licence and working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Wentworth Quarter.
• Own asset performance, leasing, compliance, and resident experience.
• Lead onsite team and collaborate with client and senior leadership.
• Drive occupancy and rental returns during lease-up and stabilisation.
• Ensure premium service and presentation of the asset.
