Essence Communities in Sydney is seeking a General Manager to oversee Wentworth Quarter, a premium Build-to-Rent community. You will lead strategy, operations, leasing and resident experience, balancing commercial outcomes with exceptional service. The role requires NSW Class 1 Real Estate Licence and strong leadership across large teams.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading a large-scale residential Build-to-Rent, hotel or similar complex asset.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
Ability to lead, coach and inspire high-performing teams.
Current NSW Class 1 Real Estate Licence (required) and Australia working rights.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across the asset, acting as the conduit between client, senior leadership and onsite team.
Own end-to-end asset performance, financial outcomes, leasing, compliance and resident experience.
Drive leasing performance and revenue optimisation across lease-up and stabilisation phases.
Foster a high-performing onsite team and deliver a premium resident experience to drive retention.
