Job summary

IDD Aerospace Corporation seeks a Trade Compliance Specialist to manage its global export/import compliance framework. You will enforce ITAR/EAR, review licenses, perform classifications, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and logistics to maintain compliant operations.

Reporting to the Director of Governance & Compliance for Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics BU, you will drive regulatory updates, conduct screenings, and support audits, while ensuring accurate records and robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in compliance, logistics, or international trade preferred
• Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience
• Exposure to ITAR/EAR and export controls is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Maintain export compliance program and develop improvements
• Review export documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Prepare export license applications and regulatory filings
• Classify products and determine licensing jurisdiction
• Collaborate with sales, shipping, engineering, and legal to ensure compliance
• Investigate potential compliance issues and support resolution with management
• Maintain import compliance program in accordance with CBP and 19 CFR requirements
• Assist with internal audits and corrective actions
• Travel 20–25% and coordinate with international teams
