UpGuard seeks a Director of Global Solutions Engineering to lead the technical engine behind our revenue organization. You will manage Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants globally, drive the technical win in pre-sales, and own the post-sales technical escalation path, partnering with CSMs and cross-sell initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the CRO, with a bias for action in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

Proven track record building and leading a world-class Solutions/Sales Engineering team.
Experience selling a technically complex product to technical buyers (engineers, security teams, architects).
Proven experience managing distributed or global teams across time zones.
Ownership of technical experience across customer journey from win to post-sales.

Responsibilities

Lead a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants across regions.
Drive the technical win in pre-sales with demos, PoCs, technical discovery, and value engineering.
Lead the post-sales escalation path and cross-sell across product suite.
Stay hands-on by joining high-stakes customer calls and setting the technical bar.
Elevate RFPs and security assessments with scalable processes and reusable content.
Enable and scale channel/partner ecosystems with training and certification.
Collaborate with Product to feed field feedback for roadmap influence.
Operate as a revenue leader with forecasting and GTM metrics.
