Job summary

Nanosonics is seeking a Senior Technical Service Engineer to join our Service & Support team in Australia. You will influence serviceability from development through to commercialisation and provide expert technical leadership across our global network.

You will lead investigations, support product development, and ensure knowledge transfer through training to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and compliant service processes worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechatronics, Electronics or related Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in Technical Service, Field Service, Manufacturing or Product Support Engineering.
• Experience in the medical device or a highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of GMP, quality systems and controlled documentation.
• Experience supporting design verification and validation activities with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of service requirements for new product development projects.
• Represent Service within cross-functional development teams and embed serviceability into product design.
• Develop and enhance global service processes, repair procedures, technical documentation and training.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal service teams, distributors and partners.
• Lead root cause investigations of returned products and support quality improvements.
• Provide expert technical support for complex customer issues and aftermarket activities.
• Support Design, Manufacturing and Quality with product validation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all service activities comply with QMS, GMP and WHS requirements.

Education
