Job summary

Tandem Partners in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Payroll & People Operations Specialist on a permanent full-time basis to join a fast-paced global professional services team. The role blends payroll processing with People Operations support across time zones.

You will manage end-to-end payroll, support onboarding/offboarding, handle employee queries, draft HR contracts and offer letters, coordinate recruitment, and maintain data for reporting and audits, with ADP Celergo experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing full-function payroll
• Hands-on experience with ADP Celergo
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, taxation, and employment legislation
• Background in HR or People Operations with day-to-day HR administration experience

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end payroll
• Supporting employee lifecycle activities including onboarding and offboarding
• Responding to employee queries regarding payroll, leave, policies, and benefits
• Preparing HR documentation such as contracts and offer letters
• Coordinating recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
• Maintaining employee data and supporting reporting and audit requirements
