Job summary

Henkel is seeking a packaging engineer in Australia to develop innovative packaging solutions that meet quality, cost, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. You will lead qualification, validation, and artwork approval while maintaining specification databases and performing data analysis.

You will evaluate materials/technologies to drive cost reductions and processes improvements, collaborate across R&D and suppliers, and support sustainability initiatives within Henkel’s global

Qualifications

• Degree in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' packaging experience in FMCG or similar industry.
• Experience using packaging measurement equipment with strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite and statistical analysis software.
• Strong written and verbal communication with detail orientation and continuous learning.
• Self-motivated, creative and collaborative team player with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative packaging solutions meeting quality, cost, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
• Support promotional activities and brand packaging needs.
• Lead packaging qualification and validation, including testing and artwork approval.
• Maintain packaging specification databases and perform data management and analysis.
• Evaluate packaging materials/technologies to reduce costs and improve processes.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with Henkel standards and GxP.
