Henkel is seeking an Application Engineer in Australia to provide technical support for packaging applications, run trials, and develop adhesive solutions across multiple products. This role requires hands-on problem solving, cross‑functional collaboration, and frequent travel.

Based in Seven Hills, NSW, the person will work with customers, sales, and engineering teams to optimise manufacturing performance and deliver innovative solutions while maintaining high safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally for customer support.
• Hands-on, analytical approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers in packaging.
• Troubleshoot and optimise adhesive performance for reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct customer trials and product testing in manufacturing environments.
• Develop adhesive solutions across packaging applications and collaborate with teams.
• Analyse performance and identify opportunities for process and cost improvements.
• Maintain safety and quality, and prepare technical reports and CRM updates.
