Job summary

This hands-on role involves investigating film performance, supporting production trials and preparing technical reports, working closely with production, quality and technical teams to ensure materials meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with flexible films, plastics or flexible packaging.
• Experience with material testing, quality or technical troubleshooting.
• Understanding of how films behave during manufacturing and packaging.
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable in testing/laboratory environments and with manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate flexible films and packaging materials.
• Investigate film failures, defects and performance issues.
• Support production trials and new material development.
• Analyse test results and identify improvements.
• Work closely with production, quality and technical teams.
