Job summary

Henkel Corporation's Adhesive Technologies team is seeking an Application Engineer based in Seven Hills, NSW. You will apply engineering expertise and adhesive science to solve customer challenges across packaging applications, with regular interstate and occasional international travel.

You’ll work hands-on in lab and production settings, develop adhesive solutions, support customers, and collaborate with Sales and internal teams to deliver reliable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on adhesive technology experience.
• Ability to support customers in packaging/applications.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across packaging industries.
• Troubleshoot and optimise adhesive performance for reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct customer trials, equipment start-ups and product testing in manufacturing settings.
• Develop and implement adhesive solutions across packaging, labeling, tissue and paper applications.
• Collaborate with Sales and internal teams to understand customer needs and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Analyze application performance and identify opportunities for process and cost improvements.
• Work across laboratory and customer environments with interstate/international travel.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and documentation, using digital tools for reports and CRM updates.

About this Position

Join Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business and play a key technical role supporting customers across the packaging industry. Based in Seven Hills, NSW, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on and technically curious Application Engineer to apply engineering expertise and adhesive technology to solve customer challenges, optimise manufacturing performance and deliver innovative solutions. Working across water‑based, hotmelt and polyurethane adhesives, you’ll collaborate with customers and internal teams across a diverse range of packaging applications, with regular interstate and occasional international travel.

What you´ll do

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across the packaging industry.
• Troubleshoot and optimise adhesive performance to improve reliability, quality and efficiency.
