Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking an Executive Portfolio Manager to join the CIO, a global investment team focused on FX and developed market rates. You will develop and execute macro investment strategies, translating macro policy into actionable ideas and portfolio decisions to enhance risk-adjusted performance.

You will work within CIO’s Tactical Portfolios & Strategy group to identify opportunities, construct portfolios, and coach other investment professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of generating alpha through disciplined risk taking and portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of macroeconomics, central bank policy and global markets.
• Sophisticated portfolio construction and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global macro investment strategies focused on FX and developed market rates.
• Translate macro developments into actionable investment strategies and trade ideas.
• Construct and actively manage portfolios to generate sustainable risk-adjusted returns.
• Evaluate portfolio performance, risks, and drivers of return; contribute to team debate and strategy.
