Job summary

CommBank’s Chief Investment Office (CIO) is looking for an Executive Portfolio Manager to join our global investment team responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities across foreign exchange and developed market interest rates. Within CIO, the Tactical Portfolios & Strategy team identifies and executes investment opportunities across global financial markets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of generating alpha through disciplined risk taking and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics, central bank policy and global markets.
• Experience translating investment views into trade expressions and portfolio decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global macro investment strategies focused on FX and developed market rates.
• Identify macro opportunities across global markets and translate policy into actionable strategies.
• Construct and actively manage portfolios to generate sustainable risk-adjusted returns.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and risk exposures, contributing to team debate and strategy.
