Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Client Coverage professional in Sydney to manage a corporate and institutional banking portfolio. You will oversee lending activities, conduct annual reviews, assess risk and support financing transactions with robust financial modelling.

Engage with risk, legal and product teams, participate in client meetings, and help deepen relationships through value-added insights. Hybrid and flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Corporate and/or Institutional Banking.
• Experience preparing annual reviews, credit submissions and portfolio monitoring.
• Experience with credit processes, including paper preparation and financial modelling.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and assess corporate credit risk.
• Understanding of lending structures, security arrangements and covenants.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal/external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen existing client relationships with portfolio oversight, focusing on lending activities.
• Oversee annual credit reviews, covenant compliance, risk reporting and portfolio monitoring.
• Support origination and execution of financing transactions with financial analysis and modelling.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Operations and Product Specialists to facilitate credit decisions.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic account planning.
