Job summary

Profusion is seeking an Investment Strategist in Sydney to support the growth of its fixed income ETF offering. You will bridge markets, strategy, and client engagement to translate macro themes into ETF positioning and practical insights.

In this role you will monitor developments, prepare market commentary and client-ready materials, and collaborate with product, distribution and marketing teams to ensure clear and consistent investment messaging across audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in financial markets, investment research, trading, or a strategy-related role.
• Strong interest in macroeconomics, investment markets, and asset allocation with the ability to translate market developments into practical investment implications.
• Familiarity with ETF structures, index construction, and product mechanics; fixed income or FX experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market developments and synthesize implications for portfolios, asset classes, and ETF exposures.
• Prepare high-quality market insights, written commentary, client presentations, briefing materials, and internal updates.
• Serve as an internal reference on markets, ETF exposures, and investment positioning; support cross-functional collaboration with product, distribution, and marketing.
• Contribute to ETF education initiatives and support consistent investment messaging across audiences.
