Job summary

CommBank is seeking a skilled professional to join its Active Portfolio Management team in Sydney. The role focuses on analysing, structuring and executing a broad range of transactions to optimise risk and return on capital across the portfolio.

You will engage in loan sales and purchases, risk participations and credit insurance transactions, collaborating closely with Coverage, Risk, Finance, Legal and external market participants to drive value and deepen institutional banking expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in Coverage, Credit Risk, Loan Product, Credit Portfolio Management or similar institutional banking roles
• Financial modelling and Excel capability
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• An inquisitive mindset and the ability to learn quickly
• Knowledge of institutional lending, risk management or capital management concepts

Responsibilities

• Support active management of IB&M's portfolio from a risk and return on capital perspective by analysing, structuring and executing transactions
• Involved through the transaction lifecycle from financial modelling and analysis to execution and ongoing management
• Collaborate with Coverage, Risk, Finance, Legal and external market participants
