Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is looking for a skilled field support engineer to join the Global IP Desk supporting financial markets infrastructure. You will resolve complex IP routing, hardware, and protocol issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with vendor TACs for rapid resolution.

The role requires working in a 24x7 global team, on-call rotation, and strong communication with customers to ensure uptime and service quality across global networks and data centers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of troubleshooting networks and circuits.
• Experience with large TCP/IP networks (VPN, MPLS).
• Experience with Cisco, Arista and Juniper equipment.
• Knowledge of financial markets concepts is preferred.
• ITIL certification or equivalent IT service management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or remote technical support for TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista, and Juniper devices.
• Interact with Cisco and Juniper TAC for escalation.
• Perform incident management to restore service with minimum impact.
• Provide 24x7 IP Desk coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Raise and manage incidents in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with NOC engineers and stakeholders.
• Support Change Management processes.
