Job summary

ICE is seeking a Network Operations professional in Melbourne to provide 24x7 support for the organization’s global production network. You will perform proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and coordination with Engineering to ensure service reliability.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, familiarity with routing protocols, TCP/IP, and strong customer service skills. Weekend and off-hours support are required. A degree in Computer Engineering or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal degree in computer engineering or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant network operations experience or equivalent credentials.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents to prevent outages and minimize impact.
• Lead problem management with root-cause analysis and procedures.
• Ensure readiness for new network services with pre-production checks.
• Plan and coordinate configuration changes with CAB and Engineering.
• Handle service requests, maintenance, and operational support.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
