Job summary

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are seeking a GIS Developer for a casual/temporary role in Carseldine QLD. The project focuses on migrating Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio Web and delivering enterprise GIS solutions.

The role requires VertiGIS Studio, Geocortex Essentials and ArcGIS Enterprise expertise, with hybrid work (50% WFH) and AO6 pay scale. Initially until 28/05/27, located at Carseldine with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with modernising GIS platforms and migrating legacy applications.
• Ability to design, build and deploy ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.
• Familiarity with REST services, security models and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Geocortex Essentials apps to VertiGIS Studio Web.
• Develop and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise apps, services and data solutions.
• Refactor .NET/C# code to integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS Studio.

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking a GIS Developer for a temporary role until 28/05/27.

• AO6 pay scale
• Carseldine location with 50% WFH available

This role is responsible for delivering the modernisation Interactive Mapping solutions through the migration of legacy Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio. The role provides specialist GIS development expertise to analyse, redesign, rebuild, and deploy enterprise spatial applications, while improving maintainability, reducing technical debt, and supporting long-term platform sustainability.

Duties include:

• Deliver the migration of Geocortex Essentials applications, viewers, workflows, and custom components to VertiGIS Studio Web.
• Assess and rationalise ArcGIS Enterprise content including Portal items, groups, web maps, services, security models, and application dependencies.
• Develop and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise applications, services, integrations, and spatial data solutions.
• Workflow 5 migration from Geocortex to VertiGIS Studio and implement new business functionality.
• Develop and maintain custom code, integrations, REST services, security controls, editing tools, and user management capabilities.
• Produce technical designs, solution estimates, Statements of Work, migration plans, deployment documentation, and operational support artefacts.
• Perform system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, defect remediation, and production support activities.
• Provide technical and architectural advice relating to GIS platforms, application modernisation, integrations, and spatial technologies.
• Refactor DotNET C# to integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS Studio

• SQL and spatial database development
• Application testing and deployment practices

Highly Desirable:

• ArcGIS SOI (Server Object Interceptor) development and security integration.
• VertiGIS Printing and Reporting.
• FME and spatial data integration.
• ArcGIS Pro project (.aprx) development and migration.
• Datum transformations and spatial data conversion (e.g. GDA94 to GDA2020).
