Job summary

ACCIONA Energía in Australia is seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to provide spatial intelligence for wind, solar and storage projects across the country. You will deliver analyses, maps, and geodatabases to support project design, construction and operation.

The role requires strong ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online skills, experience with FME, Python and ArcPy, and the ability to engage stakeholders and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in GIS, Geospatial Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a GIS/geospatial role.
• Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online (web maps, dashboards, apps, mobile workflows).
• Experience with FME or similar ETL/data integration tools.
• Strong spatial analysis, data management and QA/QC skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced GIS Analyst to provide the spatial intelligence that supports the development, design, construction and operation of renewable energy projects across Australia.

This role will work on a diverse portfolio of wind, solar and battery energy storage projects, delivering geospatial solutions that help teams make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description

Required Skills And Competencies

Highly Regarded Experience

• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering, utilities or environmental sectors
• Knowledge of planning, environmental, cadastral and land tenure datasets
• Experience with LiDAR, aerial imagery and remote sensing
• Python and ArcPy automation experience
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Map 3D or Civil 3D
