Job summary

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking experienced GIS Developers to support a Queensland Government Department in modernising its Interactive Mapping solutions. The role focuses on migrating Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio, while analysing, redesigning, rebuilding and deploying enterprise spatial applications to improve maintainability and reduce technical debt.

You will relocate and refactor .NET/C# components, work with ArcGIS Enterprise services, and deliver comprehensive deployment

Qualifications

• Experience with VertiGIS Studio Web and VertiGIS Workflow Designer.
• Strong experience with Geocortex Essentials and Geocortex Workflows.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Pro.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Web Maps, Feature Services and Geoprocessing Services.
• Experience with ArcGIS Portal administration and security.
• Experience with REST APIs and web service integrations.
• Strong SQL and spatial database development experience, including PostgreSQL / PostGIS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the migration of Geocortex Essentials applications, viewers, workflows and custom components to VertiGIS Studio Web.
• Assess and rationalise ArcGIS Enterprise content including Portal items, groups, web maps, services, security models and application dependencies.
• Develop and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise applications, services, integrations and spatial data solutions.
• Migrate Workflow 5 solutions from Geocortex to VertiGIS Studio and implement new business functionality.
• Develop and maintain custom code, integrations, REST services, security controls, editing tools and user management capabilities.
• Produce technical designs, solution estimates, Statements of Work, migration plans, deployment documentation and operational support artefacts.
• Perform system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, defect remediation and production support.
• Provide technical and architectural advice relating to GIS platforms, application modernisation, integrations and spatial technologies.
• Refactor Microsoft .NET / C# components to integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS Studio.

Contract: 7 months + possible extension options

Bridge IT is seeking experienced GIS Developers to support a QLD Government Department in the modernisation of its Interactive Mapping solutions.

This role will focus on migrating legacy Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio, while analysing, redesigning, rebuilding and deploying enterprise spatial applications. The successful candidate will help improve maintainability, reduce technical debt and support the long-term sustainability of the department’s GIS platforms.

• ArcGIS Pro project / .aprx development and migration.
• Datum transformations and spatial data conversion, including GDA94 to GDA2020.
