Job summary

Randstad Digital Australia is seeking two GIS Developers for a long-term contract in Brisbane, with a 50% hybrid work model. You will migrate Geocortex Essentials to VertiGIS Studio Web, rationalise ArcGIS Enterprise content, and execute Workflow 5 migrations while refining .NET/C# integration with ArcGIS and VertiGIS platforms.

You will produce migration designs, deployment docs, and conduct system integration and UAT, leveraging REST APIs, Git, and spatial databases.

Qualifications

• Experience with VertiGIS Studio Web, VertiGIS Workflow Designer, and Geocortex Essentials/Workflows.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise components (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro).
• Hands-on development in .NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
• Proven experience with Git, testing, defect remediation, and deployments.

Responsibilities

Are you looking for a long-term GIS contract where you can lead enterprise-scale platform modernisation? We are seeking two GIS Developers for a long-term contract through to May 2027, offering a 50% hybrid work model based. In this role, you will drive the transition of enterprise interactive mapping solutions by migrating legacy Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio, reducing technical debt and building modern, sustainable spatial applications.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver the migration of Geocortex Essentials applications, viewers, workflows, and custom components to VertiGIS Studio Web.
• Assess and rationalise ArcGIS Enterprise content, including Portal items, web maps, services, and security models.
• Execute Workflow 5 migrations from Geocortex to VertiGIS Studio while implementing new business functionality.
• Refactor .NET C# code to integrate smoothly with ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS Studio platforms.
• Produce technical designs, migration plans, deployment documentation, and perform system integration and user acceptance testing.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Solid expertise with VertiGIS Studio Web, VertiGIS Workflow Designer, and Geocortex Essentials/Workflows.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Strong hands-on development skills in Microsoft .NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and spatial SQL database development.
• Proven track record using Git source control, application testing, defect remediation, and production deployment practices.
