Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking a Physiotherapist to join Modbury Hospital’s geriatric service. This is a full-time, temporary contract until 21 May 2027, delivering evidence-based physiotherapy to older adults in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.

You will assess, treat and discharge plan for geriatric inpatients, work with the team to plan care, support safe transitions and contribute to service development and education within the Northern Adelaide Geriatric

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
• Experience in hospital/acute settings preferred, with aged care/geriatric rehab valued.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning for geriatric inpatients at Modbury Hospital.
• Contribute to goal-directed care planning with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues.
• Support safe patient transitions through rehabilitation, falls prevention and functional restoration.
• Participate in student supervision and quality improvement activities.
