Job summary

HealthcareLink Trust is seeking a Physiotherapist to deliver evidence-based interventions in aged-care settings on a part-time contract. You will assess and treat residents in central coast NSW, collaborating with nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry teams to maintain mobility and independence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration and at least 2 years in aged care or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in aged care or allied health settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care.
• Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry teams.
• Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
• Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Position: Physiotherapist – Aged Care (Part- time )
Location: Central Coast , NSW
Client Demographic: Aged-care residents (predominantly older adults in residential/community aged-care settings)

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years experience in aged care is preferred

Role Overview: We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults. In this role you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in aged-care settings, working to maintain and improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry
• Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly
• Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements
• Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions

We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current general AHPRA registration
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience—preferably in aged care or allied health settings
• New graduates who are enthusiastic about aged-care are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and a genuine interest in elderly wellbeing
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday, and uphold high standards of therapy service delivery
