Job summary
IMDEX is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Perth to support Digital Orebody Knowledge solutions. You will work with geotechnical engineers, geologists, data scientists and developers to deliver high-value geotechnical solutions for mining clients worldwide.
You will contribute to onboarding, workflow development and product improvements, engaging with customers to translate geotechnical data into actionable insights and robust QA/QC of outputs.
Qualifications
- Degree in geotechnical or related fields and ability to apply geotechnical data.
- Strong communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role and building relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and implementation of IMDEX geotechnical solutions.
- Apply geotechnical expertise to deliver, validate and QA outputs.
- Interpret and communicate geotechnical data and insights to customers.
- Act as technical contact translating data into clear insights for clients.
- Participate in technical discussions, presentations and demos.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and developers to enhance products.
- Contribute to documentation, training materials and customer resources.
- Provide feedback into product development and future capabilities.
