Job summary

CMW Geosciences on the Gold Coast is looking for a hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with 4+ years' experience to contribute to infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects. You will work with a supportive team and take increasing responsibility.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science degree, onsite experience, proposal writing exposure, and a valid Australian drivers license. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fieldwork, data collection/processing and design/reporting.
• Support progress of all aspects of project delivery under senior staff guidance.

About the role

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with4+ years of experience to join our talented team in the Gold Coast.

You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment while taking on increasing responsibility and building your capability as a well-rounded engineer.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks at the direction of senior professional personnel with support and training when required.
• Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using an understanding of engineering and geological principles based on experience gained.
• Carry our fieldwork, data collection/processing and design and reporting.
• Work at the direction of senior technical staff to support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• Minimum 4 years ofexperience as a Geotechnical Engineerpart of a consultancy
• Onsite experience
• Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
• A full Australian drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
